How do I feed Vitalbix Active+?

Vitalbix Active+ is a complete sport muesli that provides your horse with the necessary energy. You can feed Vitalbix Active+ as a sole supplement to the roughage or combine it with Vitalbix Daily Complete balancer. Vitalbix Active+ contains 24% Daily Complete pellets.

If you feed 1 kg less Vitalbix Active+ than the recommended amount, then supplement with (1,000 grams × 24% =) 240 grams of Vitalbix Daily Complete to provide the necessary vitamins & minerals. With this combination, you can easily adjust the energy amount to match your horse’s energy needs.

If you train less for a period, reduce the amount of Vitalbix Active+ and increase the amount of Vitalbix Daily Complete.

  • Light work
    240 grams per 100 kg of body weight. For a 500 kg horse, feed 1,2kg per day.

  • Moderate work
    280 grams per 100 kg of body weight. For a 500 kg horse, feed 1,4kg per day.

  • Heavy work
    320 grams per 100 kg of body weight. For a 500 kg horse, feed 1,6kg per day.

  • Very heavy work
    380 grams per 100 kg of body weight. For a 500 kg horse, feed 1,9kg per day.
